1 PhD Opportunity through the National Science Foundation's EPSCoR Graduate Fellowship Program with LSU as a designated Awardee Institution (details here). Stipend is $37,000 for 3 years with covered tuition.
Eligibility: US citizen, national, or permanent resident who has received an HONORABLE MENTION on the NSF GRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM application within the last 3 calendar years. You must meet these criteria and others in order to apply.

Topics of interest: I am broadly interested in the dynamics of coastal river deltas, with an emphasis on hydrology, hydrodynamics, and geomorphology, but specific topics under that umbrella are flexible.
